Clarify on Food Policy: Kummanam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan said on Friday that Chief Minister Oommen Chandy should admit his  failure in implementation of the Food Security Act in the state.

In a statement he said the Central government had made it clear that had the Food Security Act been implemented, sufficient food grains required for the state could have been  provided.

The Centre had allotted 14 lakh of the 16.25 lakh tonnes of grains required for the state.
