Russian Plane Crash: 2 Malayalis Among the Victims

KOCHI: Little did Shyam and Anju know that their one-and-a-half-year-old marriage  would be so shortlived.

The duo, natives of Perumbavoor, who were returning to Russia after their first post-wedding leave, were among the 62 people who died when their plane crashed in Rostov-on-Don in southern Russia on Saturday morning. 

2 MALAYALIS AMONG.jpgDasharadhan, paternal uncle of Shyam Mohan, 27, son of Mohanan, Chakkala House, near Vengola, said Shyam and his wife Anju Ayyappan, 27, had left for Dubai early on Friday morning. News about their death reached the house by Saturday afternoon.

The duo were working in an ayurvedic spa run by a Russian.
