Saritha vows to present more scorching proof

KOCHI: Saritha S Nair, key accused in the solar scam,  threatened to submit the most damning evidence yet before the Justice Sivarajan Commission probing the multi-crore scam on Friday.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday outside the office of the Solar Commission, Saritha said she acted as a mediator for Chief Minister Oommen Chandy for transferring land to a business firm at Bolgatty in Kochi.

According to her, the two pendrives handed over to the Commission-- along with two files and her controversial letter-- on Wednesday had three hour-long audio clippings of the telephone conversation between the Chief Minister and a prominent businessman over Bolgatty land transfer .

It was also revealed that the second pendrive had details  pertaining to Oommen Chandy’s role in solar scam and that the evidences were submitted in the wake of the defamation cases filed by the Chief Minister and  K C Venugopal MP after her controversial letter came out.

Saritha named the Chief Minister, his son Chandy Oommen, K C Venugopal MP; Ministers-- A P Anilkumar, Aryadan Muhammed and Adoor Prakash;  MLAs--Hibi Eden, P C Vishnunath and Mons Joseph and Congress leader N  Subramanian as the ones who had misbehaved with her mentally and physically.

The video and audio clippings in this regard would be submitted before the Solar Commission on Friday.

She said that since she was a woman everything that she endured could not be revealed to the media. It was after a great deal of mental preparation that she had decided to submit all the evidence before the Commission. She had even sought legal counsel before making up her mind.

Oommen Chandy a silent eliminator

Saritha alleged that Oommen Chandy silently eliminated those who stood against him. She also alleged that if the UDF were to be voted back to power, her family would be  eliminated.

-Defamation case filed by CM, a blessing in disguise.

Saritha claimed that the defamation case filed by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and K C Vengopal MP had provided a platform to prove her innocence yet again. She said that now she can submit all the evidence before the court.

-Evidences produced without any political motive.

According to Saritha, her decision to come out with compelling evidence was not prompted by the impending Assembly polls. Even as she denied that she had received any favour from political parties,Saritha said  if the evidences produced were found to be false, the government should have registered a case against her and arrested her. But till now no such steps have been taken.
