KOCHI: The Ernakulam Central Police on Wednesday seized 222 American Tourister products and arrested a person after conducting a raid at Winner Bazar on Broadway in the city. Niyaz, 40, hailing from Koothuparamba, Kannur, the owner of the shop, has been booked for Intellectual Property Rights(IPR) violation. The police action followed complaints from the company officials that fake American Tourister bags were being sold at various markets across the city.
