Kerala bar bribery case: ‘Voice clip of Biju Ramesh was edited’ 

 The Vigilance team probing the sensational bar bribery case has reportedly found the voice clip of bar hotelier Biju Ramesh submitted as evidence was edited. 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Vigilance team probing the sensational bar bribery case has reportedly found the voice clip of bar hotelier Biju Ramesh submitted as evidence was edited. The sleuths came to the conclusion after the clip was verified by forensic experts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

The investigators also submitted the details in a report before the special Vigilance court at Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday. The officers also informed the court the audio clip could not be considered as evidence.

The twist in the case comes at a time when further investigation of the bar bribe case is progressing. The court will consider the case on Friday. It was claimed the leaked clip of a meeting of the Kerala Bar Hotel Association in Kochi had evidence of ministers in the previous UDF Government, including K M Mani, accepting bribes from them.
