 SABARIMALA: Heavy rush of pilgrims, including those from Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, was witnessed for the Vishukani darshan at Lord Ayyappa temple here on Friday.

When the Sreekovil was opened at 3 am, thousands were in queue at Sannidhanam flyover, Valiyanadapandal, North Nada and Malikappuram. The Vishukani darshan continued till 7 am. 


Vishukaineetam 
Thantri Rajivaru and Melsanthi Unnikrishnan Nampoothiri offered vishukaineetam to the devotees in front of the Sreekovil. Travancore Devaswom Board president Prayar Gopalakishnan, Kerala High Court Judge Justice P V Asha, TDB members Ajay Tharayil and K Raghavan, special commissioner Manoj, devaswom board secretary V S Jayakumar, Sabarimala devaswom executive officer Ravisankar and administrative officer Yatheendran were present on the occasion.
