Two held in Malappuram in Kodanad estate murder case

The Areacode police on Saturday arrested two persons, who were involved in Kodanad murder case, on cheating charges.

MALAPPURAM : The Areacode police on Saturday arrested two persons, who were involved in Kodanad murder case, on cheating charges. 

Jithin of Valillappuzha and Karatt Jamsheed from Vythiri, Wayanad, were arrested on a complaint filed by two Areacode residents for cheating. 

According to the police, the duo took two vehicles for rent from Areacode and didn’t give them back on time. After delay in getting back the vehicles, the owners approached the police a few days ago. 

Two cars were also seized from the duo. Police said the vehicles were used in the murder. 

The accused were presented before the court and remanded in police custody.
