KOLLAM:PDP members welcomed chairman Abdul Nasser Madhani at Anwarassery, Karunagapally, on Sunday night. Madhani, who is expected to visit his ailing father and mother at their house in Mynagapally, will head to Thalasseri to attend his son Umar Mukhtar’s marriage, to be held at the Municipal Town Hall on Wednesday. He will also attend its reception function at C Kesavan Memorial Town Hall here on Friday.
Madhani yet again approached the SC to look into the travelling expense fixed by the Karnataka Government for the escort it is providing to him. Upon court intervention, the government, which first fixed the amount at `14 lakh, revised it to around `1 lakh.The NIA’s Special Court at Bangalore had granted Madhani permission to visit his ailing parents.
