No one will desert the UDF and many who aren’t seen now may be present in the front tomorrow, said IUML national general secretary P K Kunhalikutty MP here on Tuesday.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: No one will desert the UDF and many who aren’t seen now may be present in the front tomorrow, said IUML national general secretary P K Kunhalikutty MP here on Tuesday.He told reporters the IUML is not displeased with the functioning of the UDF in any way.
There is an assessment in the UDF M Vincent MLA was not given an opportunity to present his version and there was undue haste on the part of the police in booking him.

Taunting the BJP, Kunhalikutty said one needs to examine the level of corruption involving state leaders to find out whether there is corruption in the government at the Centre. “The true colour of the BJP is out even with the limited space it has got in the state,” he said.

The UDF is the political combination which is good for the state. “The Left Government has failed on all fronts. There is no development in the state,” he said.The Congress is maintaining cordial relations with the Opposition parties at the Centre. “The BJP’s confidence it can divide people on the lines of religion and caste is on the wane in many states. Farmers’ agitations are going to hand out severe setback to the Union Government, he said.On PDP leader Abdul Nassar Madhani, Kunhalikutty said the IUML is of the view he should get humane consideration.
