THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Reaching out to budding entrepreneurs planning startups, two Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) were signed during the Huddle Kerala conclave here on Friday. While one MoU was signed between Nasscom Foundation and the state government (thingQbator programme), the other was signed between Cisco Networking Academy and the ICT Academy of Kerala. The other initiatives launched during the programme include Innovation Platform and a one-day Kerala Innovation Challenge programme for finding solutions to socially relevant problems.

“The thingQbator programme is being planned at the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala (IITMK). It aims at skill and entrepreneurship development of young people in India. Nasscom Foundation will be implementing the programme and comes under the Cisco’s CSR mandate,” said an organiser with the Huddle Kerala.

In the case of the Cisco Networking Academy programme, schools, colleges, universities and other non-profit educational institutions are provided with the possibility of integrating a curriculum in computer networking.
