Schoolkids injured

Seven schoolkids sustained injuries after an auto-rickshaw carrying them was hit by a bricks-laden truck at Chhend Colony here on Wednesday evening.

Chhend Police said the mishap occurred around 4.30 pm. Four students received minor injuries and three were admitted to IGH. Their condition is stated to be stable. The vehicles involved in the mishap have been seized by police. Months ago a schoolboy was killed after falling from a speeding auto-rickshaw inside Chhend Colony which had resulted in public outcry.
