2-day bank stir from today

Banking operations are set to be paralysed in the State for two days from Wednesday with employees under United Forum of Bank Unions announcing that they would join the nationwide strike.

The strike has been called in protest against financial policies of the Centre which are deemed detrimental to banking sector and bank employees.
