BPUT students threaten to intensify stir

More than 500 students of the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) protested in front of the Employment and Technical Education and Training (ETET) Minister Pratap Keshari Deb’s residence against the proposed shift of the BPUT camp office to Rourkela on Thursday.

Their major claim being that since most of the colleges are located in and around Bhubaneswar, the camp office should remain in Bhubaneswar.

They claimed that if the office is shifted then they will not be able to voice their grievances like they do now.  The agitating students have threatened to intensify their protest if the State Government does not pay heed to their demand.
