The mahurat of Sushant Mani’s latest directorial venture Mun Eka Tumara under Sarthak banner was held recently. This is the seventh film where Sabyasachi and Archita have worked as a pair. Sabyasachi, who was last seen in Hara Pattnaik’s Om Sai Ram, is quite upbeat about the film and claimed that it would be one of the best projects of his life. ‘‘I have lost 12kgs to do justice to my character. Moreover, I play a mute character, therefore, watched many Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton films to get the right expression for the character,’’ the actor said. Talking about his leading lady, he said: ‘‘There is a new-found confidence in Archita owing to her successful stint in a popular beauty pageant.’’ The film has a huge star cast, including veterans such as Mihir Das, Bijay Mohanty, Mahasweta Ray, Harihar Mohapatra, Usashi Mishra and youngsters such as Ragini, Debasish Patra, Lovely and Prithviraj, among others. Bikash Das has composed the music and Abhiram Mishra will look after the cinematography.

Mahanayika

Neha Gupta, the Bengali beauty is ready to take a plunge into Ollywood with Mahanayika being made under Pragati Creative banner.  Though most part of the shooting is over, director Rudra Narayan Mohanty has not revealed anything about the plot. Centred around a woman, the film has Bibhuprasad paired against Neha Gupta.

Janha Raija re Karichi Ghara

Debutant director Chetan Deepta is coming up with a Odia movie Janha Raija re Karichi Ghara. The movie under Siridi Sai Baba Movies is being produced by Akshay Dash. The star cast include Bijay Mohanty, Asit Pati, Samaresh, Megha Ghosh, Manas, Monalisha, KK, and Debi Barik. With a dreamy title, the film’s music has been composed Prem Anand and the dialogues are by Rajani Ranjan.
