Barachana police on Sunday night seized 54 LPG cylinders from a private bus and arrested three of its staff. The arrested persons are driver Ranjan Hazra (45), conductor Mahendra Mohapatra (35) and helper Tuna Gouda (38).
The police seized 54 empty cylinders of 15.6 kg capacity meant for domestic use. The seized cylinders belonged to Bharat Gas company, police said.
The private bus was on its way to Kolkata from Bhubaneswar.
