Website of Guinness record holder

Keshab Swain, who smashed green coconuts on his way to the Guinness Book of World Records last year, now has an official website - www.keshabswain.com - to his name.

Along with the launch of his website, Swain has also gone live on social media with presence on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. The website was formally launched by Minister of Commerce and Transport Subrat Tarai at a function here on Saturday.

Holder of several national and international records in green coconut breaking with elbow, head and knee, Swain is also a martial art and fitness trainer by profession. Through his website, he hopes to inspire the youths to take up adventure sports as well as martial art and fitness training. The web presence is expected increase his reach to people and help them with fitness tips, counselling and natural treatment for general diseases.

Hailing from Baharpur village in Dharakote block of Ganjam, he became the first Odia to create history in Guinness World Records by breaking 85 green coconuts with his elbow in one minute. The breaking of green coconuts with the use of elbow is also a unique category in the record book.

Noted sand artist Sudarshan Patnaik was also present at the function.
