The investors of Bhubaneswar-based AB Group of companies, a chit fund company, in Koraput district have filed an FIR at Jeypore police station against the company. They alleged that the company has duped them of over ` one crore through different schemes promising high returns.
They claimed that they had invested in different schemes of the AB Group and its sister concerns from December 11, 2012 to July, 2013. However, the company officials stopped interacting with them from August, 2013.
When the investors failed to contact the company officials in Berhampur and Bhubaneswar offices, they filed the FIR.
