The State Government has decided to launch a special bus service for women between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack from March 8 to mark the International Women’s Day.
The initiative has been taken by the Department of Transport to facilitate safe and comfortable journey for women.
This special bus service will provide a hassle-free journey to the working women, students and the other women who travel between Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, G Mathivathanan, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Commerce and Transport Department said.
