Continuing their agitation on the last three days of every month paralysing court work to press their demand for setting up a bench of High Court in the region, members of Sambalpur District Bar Association have decided to intensify their stir as they have failed to evoke any response from the State Government.
In a change of strategy, the lawyers have resolved to stage dharna in front of the office of the Revenue Divisional Commissioner on March 25.
Bar Association president Pramod Rath said more than 3,000 lawyers from 37 Bar Associations from across the region are scheduled to attend the demonstration. Their boycott of courts on the last three working days of every month would continue.
