The State Government has shifted the Director, (investigation), of the Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC), Gopabandhu Mallick, who is embroiled in an alleged dowry torture case, filed by his sister-in-law.
Mallick has been posted as the Additional Director-General (ADG) of Police, Communications in the State Police headquarters.
Santosh Kumar Upadhyaya has been posted as the Inspector-General of Police (investigation), OHRC.
Upadhyaya was Inspector General, Communications.
