NSUI demands Patra’s ouster

The National Students Union of India (NSUI) on Saturday demanded the resignation of Minister for Higher Education Badrinarayan Patra over the question paper leaks in plus two examination.

About 50 to 60 members of the NSUI staged a demonstration in front of the Odisha Bhavan at New Delhi where Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik was attending a review meeting.

Besides the resignation of the Minister, the NSUI members demanded that he should be brought into the purview of Crime Branch inquiry into the question paper leaks.

The Joint Resident Commissioner accepted the memorandum submitted by the NSUI activists on behalf of the Chief Minister.
