BHUBANESWAR: The youth and student wings of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) will stage demonstration in front of all the railway stations in the State alleging stepmotherly attitude towards Odisha in Railway Budget 2014-15.
Criticising the Centre for ignoring the just demands of the State for improvement in the railway infrastructure, Biju Yuva Janata Dal (BYJD) general secretary Bijay Nayak said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had made a demand of `3,160 crore in view of the requirement in the sector.
Stating that the move to take out Waltair division from the jurisdiction of the East Coast Railways (ECoR) will not be tolerated, Nayak said Chief Minister’s demand for creation of three new divisions has also been ignored.
