DHENKANAL: Dhenkanal Daily Passengers Forum has expressed its dissatisfaction over the Railway Budget and reiterated its demands on stoppage of Superfast trains, running of other trains and better services.
The Forum has often raised stoppage of Kurla-Puri Superfast train at Dhenkanal station in the past. Many passengers of the district have to board the train in Bhubaneswar, Angul and Talcher. Representative of the Forum Rudra Madhav Mohapatra said this is an injustice to railway passengers. Many people depend on bus to go to Cuttack daily and hence their demand for Intercity and passenger trains should be looked into.
