Bol Bom Devotee Dies

ROURKELA:  In a tragic incident, Roopesh Debangan (19), a Bol Bom devotee of Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh died of electrocution at Mandiakundar under Kansbahal police outpost in Sundargarh district on Sunday night.

Officer-in-Charge of the outpost Jagadish Bara said after taking water from Vedvyas, Roopesh was going to Ghoghardham when the mishap occurred. A ‘bhajan’ programme was going on at Mandiakudar where a bamboo barricade was erected. Roopesh, who stopped there,  accidentally touched the barricade which was charged up and he died.

An unnatural death case has been registered.
