BHUBANESWAR: SAIMUN, the second edition of International Model United Nations (MUN) Conference got underway at SAI International School here.
More than 450 school students and delegates from 15 countries are participating in the international conference which was inaugurated by Minister for School and Mass Education and Industries Debi Prasad Mishra.
The three day conference with the theme of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - One World, One Family’ is being held to debate and discuss issues of global concern.
Mishra lauded SAI International School for hosting the event and wished the delegates a successful and purposeful MUN.
Bhubaneswar-North MLA Priyadarshi Mishra and Industries Secretary Vishal Dev also spoke on the occasion.Chairman of SAI International School Bijoy Sahoo welcomed the 25 international delegates who he said will bring in a whole new dimension to the conference.
The conference will see seven committees deliberating on various national and international issues.
