New Weekly Train from Puri

BHUBANESWAR: The Ministry of Railways has decided to introduce a new weekly Express train between Puri and Gandhidham.

On the inaugural run, the train will leave Gandhidham on October 8. However, the train will leave Puri every Saturday.

Gandhidham-Puri Weekly Express train will leave Gandhidham at 7.30 pm every Wednesday and reach Puri at 7.55 pm on Friday.

In the return direction, the train will leave Puri at 9.05 am every Saturday and reach Gandhidham at 9.30 pm on Monday.

The train will have stoppages at Sakshigopal, Khurda Road, Balugaon, Chhatrapur, Berhampur, Sompeta, Palasa, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Parvatipuram, Rayagada, Muniguda, Kesinga, Titlagarh, Kantabanji and Mahasamund under ECoR jurisdiction between Puri and Gandhidham.

This train will also stop at Raipur, Durg, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Malkapur, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Amalner, Nandurbar, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Samakhiali and Bhachau stations.
