STR to Reopen on Nov 2

BHUBANESWAR: The Similipal Tiger Reserve (STR) will re-open for tourists on November 2.

At the most, 6 tourist vehicles will be allowed inside the national park on a day.

In a press release, Field Director of STR Anup Kumar Nayak said, 40 four-wheelers from Kaliani entry gate (from Jashipur side) and 20 from Pithabata entrance will be allowed on first-come-first serve basis, said sources.

Entry permits will be available at these gates between 6 am and 9 am only.
