Naveen Leaves for Delhi to Meet Modi

BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday left on a 7-day tour to New Delhi.

Naveen is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Union ministers and discuss pending investment proposals. He is scheduled to return here on May 12.

The Chief Minister was on a eight-day tour to Delhi in April when he discussed the proposed IT investment region project in the State with Union Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.

He had also met Union Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and proposed a coastal highway connecting Gopalpur in Ganjam district to Digha in West Bengal.
