Campaign on Jagannath Culture

BHUBANESWAR: To spread awareness on Nabakalebara festival across the country, the International Society for Jagannath Consciousness (ISJC) in association with a Delhi-based cultural organisation Odia Pua will organise a nation-wide campaign.

The campaign ‘Nabakalebara Yatra’, which will continue for 45 days, will start on May 1 and culminate on June 14.

During the yatra, members would emphasise on love, compassion and humanity.

A decorated tableaux carrying the trinity will be displayed to depict the philosophy of Jagannath cult.

People, irrespective of caste, religion and gender, can join the campaign. Besides, spiritual talks and cultural events would be part of this yatra, a member of ISJC said.
