6 Minor Girls Rescued

 BERHAMPUR: Six minor girls of Chakapada in Kandhamal district were rescued by the Childline officials from the Berhampur railway station. They were being taken to Andhra Pradesh on Saturday by some persons to be employed as domestic helps. The persons, though, managed to escape.

Sabyasachi Hospitalised

Maoist leader Sabyasachi Panda, who was on fast for the last two days in the Circle Jail here, was admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital on Saturday. Panda said his hunger strike would continue till his demands are fulfilled. He is demanding, among other things, provision of information of cases filed against him.
