BHUBANESWAR: Unidentified miscreants looted `5 lakh after breaking the wind shield of the car of a businessman at Saheed Nagar here on Monday.
The incident occurred when one Sisir Moharana of Patia had gone to a mobile repair shop near Saheed Nagar Haat and parked his car on a by-lane.
On his return, Moharana found the rear glass of the car broken and his bag, which was lying on the seat, missing. There was `5 lakh in the bag which he would have deposited in a bank at Chandrasekharpur.
An FIR has been registered in this connection and investigation is on, police said.
