BHUBANESWAR: Chit fund scam accused Priti Bhatia on Saturday deposed before the CBI here. It was the first time after her release from jail on November 7 that the Mumbai-based model was interrogated by the Central agency.
Priti was arrested by the CBI on charges of her alliance with Artha Tatwa Group chief Pradip Sethy in October 2014.
On November 4 this year, the Supreme Court granted her release on a bail bond of `1.17 crore.
Priti’s sister Indu Dewan was arrested by the probe agency in October. Dewan, Priti and Sethy floated a company Prism Heights in which AT Group’s money was invested.
