Reserve Police Cook Found Dead

BHUBANESWAR:   The body of a man was found hanging inside Reserve Police campus near Jayadev Vihar here on Saturday night. The deceased was identified as Binod Senapati, a cook at the reserve police camp.

According to sources, at around 1.30 am, Senapati was spotted by inmates of the camp kneeling down under a tree. They rushed Senapati to Capital Hospital where he was declared dead.

A case of unnatural death has been registered at Saheed Nagar police station and body sent for autopsy to Capital Hospital.

Senapati, sources said, had undergone heart surgery a few days back. Besides, he had family problems for which he was upset. Autopsy reports will ascertain the actual cause of death, DCP Satyabrata Bhoi said.
