RAYAGADA: : Two criminals and two buyers of stolen goods were arrested by Rayagada Police on Saturday. The criminals are Habibullah Khan and Srinu Kalka.
Rayagada SDPO Y Jagannath Rao said both Khan and Kalka had stolen gold ornaments, cash and some goods from the house of Sanyashi Subudhi at Rait Colony in the town on Friday. They had then sold some of the ornaments to two housewives, Deopali Rani and Muni Jakaka.
On a tip off, police nabbed the four persons and seized gold ornaments weighing two grams, silver ornaments weighing one kg and Rs14,000 cash. The four were produced before the local court.
