BERHAMPUR: Parliamentary Affairs Minister Bikram Kesari Arukh said an event like Gopalpur Beach Festival, which has been instrumental in revival of dying arts of Southern Odisha, should be popularised at the National level. Addressing the concluding ceremony of the beach festival, he said the State Government is contemplating to take several measures for promotion of local tourist destinations.
Women and Child Development Minister Usha Devi, Higher Education Minister Pradeep Panigrahy, MLAs Dr RC Choupatnaik, Debaraj Mohanty, Dr Priyansu Pradhan, Purna Chandra Sethi, Nandini Devi, Srikant Sahu, ZP Chairman Surath Pradhan and BeDA Chairman Subash Moharana were present.
