BHUBANESWAR: Sensor-based car parking mechanism and parking enforcement were the highlights of the presentation made before Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation here on Tuesday.
BMC had recently floated an Expression of Interest inviting process managers for streamlining on-street parking in the Capital. Four private firms, including one UK-based firm, gave presentations on different ways in which on-street parking can be optimised.
The proposal of introducing a monthly pass system for sensor-based parking slots was made. Senior BMC officials were present.
