State Vigilance Gets Modern Interrogation Cell

BHUBANESWAR: The State Vigilance has now equipped itself with a state-of-the-art Examination Cell for interrogation during investigation of corruption cases.

The Modern Examination Cell at Vigilance Cell police station, Cuttack was inaugurated by Director KB Singh on Tuesday. The facility comprises three inter-connected rooms fitted with CCTV camera, recording and monitoring systems. The examination room is glass-fitted and visible from adjoining room facilitating communication of necessary instructions or directions to the supervising officers in course of interrogation. There is also facilities for the relative/friend/advocate of the suspect who can view the interrogation without hampering the process.
