DEOGARH: Security forces exchanged fire with Maoists at Khuntadihi under Barkote police limits in the district on Wednesday night.
Although the exchange of fire continued throughout the night, no report of casualty was received from both the sides.
Deogarh SP Sarah Sharma on Thursday said the exchange of fire was continuing in the area and besides the district police, the District Voluntary Force, Reserve Police, Special Operation Group, CRPF have been deployed. She further said that the security forces have destroyed a Maoist camp and seized several articles from the spot.
