Monsoon Session From August 18

The Monsoon session of the Assembly would begin from August 18.

BHUBANESWAR:The Monsoon session of the Assembly would begin from August 18. As per the notification issued by Assembly Secretariat here on Thursday, the session will have 11 working days and conclude on August 29. Issues like happenings during Nabakalebara festival, including the bungling during ‘Bramha Parivartan’ ritual, are likely to dominate the proceedings for much of the 11-day session. Several other issues, including the deteriorating law and order situation, will also be raised by the Opposition.
