PAIKMAL (BARGARH): Paikmal police, on Monday, exhumed the body of a man from the backyard of the house of Kashyap Bag in Jamuna Nagar here. He was missing from Saturday. The body is believed to be that of Kashyap himself.
Acting on a tip off that a body was found buried in the backyard of Bag’s house, Paikmal police, led by SDPO Prakash Kumar Patra, visited the spot and found newly laid concrete slab at a place. This raised suspicion and after digging about four feet, police recovered a body with limbs tied and face covered with cloth. Bag’s wife Bindu Bag (32) is absconding.
