BHUBANESWAR: Aditya Care Hospital, Bhubaneswar, organised an orientation programme for nurses with an objective of upgrading their skills and imparting education on latest advances in nursing services among the workforce in the city.
Inaugurating the programme, Director, AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, Prof A K Mohapatra said while continuous medical education (CME) for doctors was regularly conducted, it was also essential to upgrade the skills of nursing workforce.
The first of its kind educational programme for nurses in the State was attended by nurses, nursing colleges faculty and authorities and doctors.
