CUTTACK: One person died and another sustained grievous injuries in an accident on CDA Road under Bidanasi police limits on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Kiran Kumar Singh (22) of CDA Sector-9.
Sources said the Singh was riding along with his friend Trilochan Biswal on a bike when a bus hit them. While Singh died on the spot, locals rushed Biswal to a nearby hospital. Following the incident, irate locals staged a road blockade on the spot demanding seizure of the bus and arrest of the accused driver.
