3 More MKCG Medicos Held

BERHAMPUR: Baidyanathpur police on Wednesday arrested three more junior doctors of MKCG Medical College and Hospital on Wednesday for attacking journalists, three youths and an autorickshaw driver last week.

With this, the total number of arrests has gone up to nine. Six of them were arrested on Tuesday in connection with the incident.

The medicos boycotted classes and sat on a dharna infront of their college on the day. Showing solidarity, the junior doctors also refrained from their duties.

However, health service in the hospital were not affected as the authorities apprehending such a situation had made arrangements.
