BHUBANESWAR: A team of Commissionerate of Police on Wednesday left for Visakhapatnam to conduct search in the house where Sushil and Sushant Dhal Samanta used to put up during there stay in the Port City of Andhra Pradesh.
Sources said a kin of Dhal Samanta brothers will accompany the police team as the house was found to be locked. The lock of the house would be broken in presence of the duo’s relative,sources said.
The younger sibling Sushant had business interests in Visakhapatnam and regularly visited the city. The house also provided a safe hideout to evade arrest. The police anticipate to stumble upon cash or firearms in the house during the search.
Apart from Visakhapatnam, the two brothers also had their hideouts in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata. Efforts are on to trace their locations in these cities, police said.
