WB Support for ICZM to Continue

BHUBANESWAR: The World Bank has offered to continue its support for extension of the Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) project in the State while appreciating the significant outcomes of the phase-I activities.

A three-member expert team of World Bank (WB) under the leadership of Senior Director of Environment and Natural Resources Global Practice Paula Caballero on Saturday held discussion with senior officers of the State Government at a high level meeting chaired by Chief Secretary AP Padhi. Chaballero said the outcome of the ICZM interventions taken up during first phase was quite impressive and encouraging.
