BALASORE: Television actress Jessy, who is lodged in Soro sub jail on the charges of abetting suicide of actor Ranjit Patnaik alias Raja, was admitted to Government Hospital, Soro on Tuesday.
Sources said Jessy complained of nausea and vomiting after lunch. After providing medical aid in the jail, she was taken to CHC, Soro where she was administered IV fluids. Hospital sources said she was suffering from dehydration.
After a brief stay in the hospital, she was brought back to jail and her condition is improving, said jail sources. She was arrested on February 16 and a polygraph test was conducted on her the next day.
She has appealed before the District and Sessions court for bail. The court has admitted the bail application, hearing of which was posted to March 1.
