Naveen to Address Workers' Meet in Sambalpur Today

SAMBALPUR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit Sambalpur on Saturday to address a Shramik Samabesh, which will mark the closing of Nirman Shramik Seva Saptaha (Construction Workers’ Service Week), and distribute benefits to construction workers.

During his visit, Naveen will dedicate many projects to the people of Sambalpur besides lay foundation stones for several development projects.

He will inaugurate the Freedom Fighters’ Memorial Hall and Museum and Heritage Building Enclave near Samaleswari temple.

Naveen will visit the pumping station at Balibandha and the site of second bridge over river Mahanadi and lay foundation stone for drainage development.

At District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), he will dedicate 50-bed Mother and Child Care Centre, lay foundation stone for construction of blood bank building, DHH road, drain and sewerage treatment.

He will also lay foundation stone for Budharaja Reserve Forest inside the City.

Later, Naveen will address the workers’ meet at PHED Ground here.
