Cops led by IIC Ranjan Kumar Sahu, on a tip off, intercepted the oil tanker and found the contraband packed in gunny bags inside it at Talasahi on Sukma road. The contraband was being smuggled from Bhejaguda under Mathili police limits to Chhattisgarh.

The three accused have been identified as Aswini Baghel of Christianpeta in Jeypore of Koraput district besides, Sana Nag and Raghu Kanker of Sargiguda in Malkangiri district. The ganja was packed in 100 small packets which were kept in gunny bags inside the oil tanker, said the IIC.
