SAI International wins OLF-17 quiz

BHUBANESWAR: From questions on Carnatic music to historic places, art and artists, general knowledge to animal breeds and species and Odisha, the quiz session on the concluding day of Odisha Literary Festival-2017 was a refreshing start to a Sunday. The quiz concentrated on India @70, the theme of the event.The quiz master, Soumyadip Chowdhury, was again at his best while questioning the students of Class 11 and 12 for India 70 quiz. The intelligent questioning by Soumyadip left over 100 students from seven schools in the city scrapping their heads for answers.

The participating schools are, SAI International School, DAV Schools - Unit-8, CSPur and Pokhariput, Mother’s Public School, DPS-Kalinga and KIIT International. About the quiz, students said they were really happy with the way the questions were put. The questions will only help them Google for similar topics and brush up their general knowledge.


While SAI International bagged the first prize with 80 points for the second consecutive year, Mother’s Public School was second spot with 70 points and DAV-Pokhariput was third spot with 60 points. Soumyadip who is here for the second time said, I enjoyed the event thoroughly. The quiz event is maturing and what I found was that the participants were sure and prepared this time.”
