Congress accuses SEC of bias

Opposition Congress has alleged that the State Election commission(SEC)is showing partiality by not allowing them to organise health camp citing the model code of conduct. 

In a statement, Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson A V Veeraghavan said that citing the model code of conduct,the SEC didn’t give permission to the party to organise a health camp at Kunichampet village in Mannadipet constituency on Saturday, on the eve of party president Sonia Gandhi’s birthday.

He charged SEC with bias for allowing Chief Minister N Rangasamy to participate in a function to inaugurate the harvesting of sugarcane on January 5, two days after the notification of cvic elections.
