Opposition Congress has alleged that the State Election commission(SEC)is showing partiality by not allowing them to organise health camp citing the model code of conduct.
In a statement, Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson A V Veeraghavan said that citing the model code of conduct, the SEC didn’t give permission to the party to organise a health camp at Kunichampet village in Mannadipet constituency on Saturday, on the eve of party president Sonia Gandhi’s birthday.
He charged SEC with bias for allowing Chief Minister N Rangasamy to participate in a function to inaugurate the harvesting of sugarcane on January 5, two days after the notification of cvic elections.
